Job Title: Financial Controller

Reports To: Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, or equivalent leadership.

Job Overview

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing key financial controllership activities and ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting for one of SPS North America’s two business lines. This role plays an important part in the monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, financial controls and process improvement while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, Sales and other business leaders. The Financial Controller will provide financial insight and analysis to support business performance, strengthen financial processes and controls, and enable sound business decision-making.

This is a hands‑on role with one direct report who will also have responsibilities related to financial processes and projects. Extensive people‑management experience is not required. The successful candidate should, however, demonstrate the ability to influence others, lead initiatives, collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
