Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Massages guests using accepted techniques and rubbing compounds.
• Monitors exercise equipment, tanning booths, and surrounding pool area to ensure that the facility is used properly.
• Greets guests and offers instruction and assistance with exercise equipment, tanning booths, and pool facilities.
• Follows all safety procedures; immediately notifies Security and supervisor of accidents and potential safety hazards.
• Collects fees for health club, Spa services, and sundry items and maintains security of receipts.
• Books massage and tanning reservations.
• Maintains adequate supply of towels and sundry items; monitors inventory and notifies manager when additional supplies are needed.
• Ensures exercise equipment is maintained in a clean and attractive manner.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; valid Massage Technician License required.
• Must have familiarity with Swedish massage techniques.
• Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Knowledge of fitness, exercise equipment, and spa facilities preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area; ability to maneuver in order to assist guests in the proper use of equipment.
