Provides leadership for Materials Management and may be responsible for a variety of other ancillary departments such as Linen Distribution, Printing and Mail Room, SPD and Central Processing. Participates in process improvements throughout the facility.
Essential Responsibilities- Directs day-to-day activities of Materials Management and other assigned departments. (30%)
- Supervises staff, evaluates work, and recommends and implements disciplinary action. (30%)
- Provides quality service based on accuracy and timeliness related to patient care. Evaluates and implements programs to continually improve customer service. (30%)
- Develops annual budget for department. (10%)
- Minimum
- Knowledge of automated supply chain principles, materials handling, inventory control methods, and record keeping.
- Preferred
- Associate's Degree in Business or Health related field.
- Previous experience at staff-level performing similar functions.
- Previous supervisory experience.
