Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team
. This role is ideal for a compassionate COTA who is passionate about helping residents improve functional independence, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs) in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist with individualized treatment plans to restore and improve functional skills
- Deliver therapeutic exercises and activities focused on ADLs and quality of life
- Accurately document treatment minutes, progress notes, and resident responses
- Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident goal-setting
Educate residents and families on daily living strategies and safety techniques - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
- Follow all federal, state, and facility regulations
- Active COTA license/certification in the state
- Skilled nursing, long‑term care, or rehab experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
- Full‑Time hours with consistent caseload
- In‑house therapy team with strong clinical support
