Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides leadership for Materials Management and may be responsible for a variety of other ancillary departments such as;
Linen Distribution, Printing and Mail Room, SPD and Central Processing. Participates in process improvements throughout the facility.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Directs day-to-day activities of Materials Management and other assigned departments. (30%)
  • Supervises staff, evaluates work, and recommends and implements disciplinary action. (30%)
  • Provides quality service based on accuracy and timeliness related to patient care. Evaluates and implements programs to continually improve customer service. (30%)
  • Develops annual budget for department. (10%)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
  • Knowledge of automated supply chain principles, materials handling, inventory control methods, and record keeping.
Preferred:
  • Associates Degree in Business or Health related field.
  • Previous experience at staff-level performing similar functions.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
