Cancer Registry Administrator to join our team on a full-time contract basis. This role reports to the Cancer Registry Director and supports the collection, management, and reporting of cancer data across the state.
Key Responsibilities- File and manage incoming cancer data reports from healthcare facilities.
- Conduct death clearance follow-back and support registry data requests.
- Maintain and update healthcare facility contact information in SEER
* DMS and Web Plus. - Assist in developing and updating registry policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- CTR (Certified Tumor Registrar) or Oncology Data Specialist certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare data management or administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and ability to learn new software.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
