Job Overview

This position is responsible for greeting, registering, collecting payments from and directing/escorting patients in compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and hospital policies and procedures. It is an ambassador of Deaconess, cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity and optimism.

Education and Experience

• Completion of High School or GED is required.
• Knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
• Understanding insurance is a plus.
