Caregiver Position

As a caregiver, you will allow seniors the comfort of receiving non-medical care in the familiarity of their own home. In addition to helping older adults maintain their health and well-being, you will work to provide them with positive experiences that enhance the quality of their lives.

• $17.00 per hour Monday-Friday & Alternating Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
• $14.50 per hour Monday-Friday (Non-Weekend Schedule)

• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
• Help seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization
• Accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
• Assist seniors with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Organize transportation, ambulation, and transfers
• Encourage activity and movement
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home.

• Genuine passion for helping others
• Valid driver's license
• Your own reliable transportation you can use for work
• Excellent work and personal references
• Satisfactory background checks and driving record
• Adherence to Comfort Keepers' policies and procedures.
• Functioning in a home setting with minimal direct supervision
• Maintaining satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, just your dedication to providing quality service and your caring heart are required. However, strong consideration will be given to candidates with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.

This caregiver position is open at our State College Office, located at 915 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Our office serves the Bellefonte/Centre Hall/State College areas so this position may require travel. Apply Today!
