Billing Representative II
In an environment where the patient is at the center of everything that we do the individuals in this position typically works with Billing Representatives and other employees handling complex billing issues for the purpose of collecting revenue for the organization. Will work with Patient, Client and/or Third Party insurance bills.
Pay range: $18.39+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

- Administrative in-office tasks including print, mail, & faxing of documents
- Research returned mail
- Research billing issues to identify and document trends
- Outbound calls to insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve any issues
- Review and process insurance/patient refunds and adjustments
- Always maintain Compliance and HIPPA standard
- Meet or exceed daily production & quality standards
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1 year experience in medical office setting
- Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with explanation of benefits and appeals
Soft Skills:
- Ability to navigate on internet for research purposes
- Problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
