Job Title: CT Technologist / CT Scan Tech
Facility: Conemaugh Nason Medical Center – A Duke LifePoint Hospital
Location: Roaring Spring, PA
Shift: Night Shift – 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Duration: 13 Weeks
Open Positions: 1
Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend or as needed
Call Requirements: As needed
Float Requirements: As needed

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must have experience in both CT and general X-ray.
• Required certification: BLS.
• Required qualifications:
  
  RT(R) and CT credentials (RT(R)(CT)).
• Must demonstrate professionalism and the ability to work independently.
• Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages.

• Perform CT scans and general X-ray procedures.
• Operate GE Revolution EVO CT scanner and GE X-ray equipment.
• Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety.
• Produce quality diagnostic images and assist with imaging department operations.

• Service Area: Suburban and rural communities across Blair, Bedford, and Huntingdon Counties.
• Patient Population: All age groups.
• Equipment: GE Revolution EVO CT scanner and GE X-ray machines.
• Scrub Color: Any color permitted; casual wear is not allowed.

All required screenings must be completed and cleared before the candidate can start. Fingerprints must be submitted before clearance.

• FBI / Department of Aging Fingerprinting: Existing fingerprints completed within the past two years are accepted. Otherwise, schedule through using Service Code 1KG8RJ. CHS Facility Code: 5129.

  Employment clearances are required; volunteer clearances are not accepted.

Important: Candidates must have experience in both CT and general X-ray and complete all required Pennsylvania clearances before starting.
