Center for Community Resources 988 Text & Chat Crisis Intervention Services is looking for a compassionate mental health professional. Crisis Intervention services include text and chat, telephone, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services throughout Pennsylvania.

Hours:

1pm – 9pm, including rotating weekends & holidays. We offer an extra $.75 hr. shift differential for any hours worked between 4pm and midnight. You can also earn up to two remote days a week after 6 months of employment. This gives you an opportunity to pick a schedule that best suits your needs/lifestyle. This creates a great work-life balance. However, you must be flexible to work weekends.

The salary range for this position is $21.54/hour - $25.09/hour. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience. Crisis Counselors can work on call to respond to the community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one-year experience in mental health field required.

Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
