Role Overview
A full-time Respiratory Therapist performs patient assessments, develops care plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Conducts routine and advanced respiratory therapies
- Manages mechanical ventilators
- Provides patient and family education
- Assists with invasive procedures
- Monitors via non-invasive tools
- Supports intra-hospital patient transport.
- Also involved in airway management
- blood gas sampling
- discharge planning
- adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Functions as a shift coordinator after one year
- mentors students and new staff.
- Requires a graduate from a specialty training program, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to float between multiple hospital locations, with availability for day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong assessment, communication, and technical skills
