Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Support Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing behavior support plans, with a specialized understanding of problematic sexualized behavior. This role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support individuals in achieving their highest level of independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans tailored to individual needs.
- Provide consultation and training to staff and caregivers.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with support teams, including families, direct support staff, and clinical professionals.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to person-centered planning.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Education (required).
- Specialized training in problematic sexualized behavior (required).
- Current PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Clearance, and Child Abuse Clearance (required).
- ABA training or certification (preferred but not required).Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
