Full-time
Supervises and coordinates daily functions of Medical Record Department staff to insure work assignments are completed accurately, timely and thoroughly. Responsible for coding and abstracting of outpatient records. Performs chart audits and other duties as directed by Manager, Medical Record department.
Job Requirements- Requires the ability to communicate effectively;
- Good organizational skills.
- Detail oriented;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Legible handwriting;
- Experience with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology required
- Experience in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding desired;
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
