Home and Community Services (HCS) Supervisor

Abilities is a nonprofit agency that provides in-home and community-based services to people with disabilities. We are seeking a full-time Home and Community Services (HCS) Supervisor to join our team in the Export, PA area.
Supervisory responsibilities include maintaining electronic client records; recruiting and interviewing candidates; coaching caregiver staff; responding to phone inquiries; and conducting performance evaluations. This position also participates in an “on-call” rotation.
T he HCS Supervisor also supports the growth of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years caregiver experience with individuals with disabilities
OR
- Associate Degree in Special Education, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, or related field and one (1) year of experience working with people with disabilities OR
- Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year prior experience working with people with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance and ability to travel utilizing personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Supervisory experience
