A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support its operations in Kennett Square, PA. This role offers a 13-week contract to hire opportunity, providing involvement in precise and compliant preparation of compounded medications in a USP-compliant facility.

• Ensure strict adherence to USP and regulatory guidelines for sterile and non-sterile compounding through training and ongoing competency evaluations.
• Accurately read and interpret prescriptions, entering orders into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and compound medications following established formulas under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist in preparing formula log sheets, ensuring proper documentation to meet compliance standards.
• Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications with precision.
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels of ingredients, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support batch compounding, product labeling, and verification of documentation.
• Facilitate timely fulfillment and preparation of compounded prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup.
• Maintain accurate records of compounded products and document all related activities thoroughly.

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Sterile compounding experience is required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory.

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am 3:30 pm.
