Medical Laboratory Scientist

Join a state-of-the-art laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, responsible for performing and reporting various analyses from multiple specimen sources to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Performing laboratory tests, maintaining instrument functionality, troubleshooting, and quality control
• Proper specimen handling, identification, accessioning, and resolving discrepancies
• Managing reagent and supply replenishment following protocols
• Using multiple computer applications and following reporting procedures
• Assisting in training new staff and participating in ongoing education to maintain competency

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of an ASCP/NAACLS-accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program, or relevant certification
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred
• Ability to handle specimens accurately, troubleshoot instruments, and navigate computer systems
