Position: Valet Attendant (FT)

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
  • Parking and retrieval of guest vehicles upon arrival and departure from the property.
  • Parks guests cars upon arrival
  • Retrieves guest’s cars upon departure
  • Answers any questions upon arrival
  • Providing the highest level of guest service
  • A thorough knowledge of the property
  • Train new team members (Valet Attendants only)
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to operate various motor vehicles
  • Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Understand and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
  • Learn specific job duties and complete work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
  • Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time; withstand various temperature changes; withstand high frequency noises, sounds, and tones. Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in operating various motor vehicles and vehicles with a manual transmissions.
  • Required Certification/License Valid Michigan Driver’s license.
