Waterpark Birthday Party and Celebration ConciergeKalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Birthday Party and Celebration Concierge. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, booking, and retaining all day birthday and social events that take place in the water parks.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love
—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide information, sales and organization of all guests interested in bringing groups into the waterpark.
$16/hr + Commission
Key Responsibilities- Prospecting, booking, and retaining all day birthday and social events that take place in the water parks.
- Solicit, develop, and maintain accounts through direct sales efforts to ensure budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.
- Supply all requested information to the guests regarding the waterpark.
- Assist in ensuring completion of all forms within the department (call, lost business, weekly recaps, contracts, proposals, banquet event orders, etc.).
- Maintain a minimum sales call and sales activity pace and booking activity in accordance with established goals.
- Experience and proven success in developing and closing group business is required.
- Have a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort/waterpark are helpful.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
- Waterpark group sales experience, event planning and related terminology are helpful.
- Must be able to work weekends (Fri‑Sun).
