Reservations Agent

The Gstaad Palace, with over 90 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants, 2 bars, and a legendary nightclub, is an internationally renowned 5-star luxury hotel. It is owned by the Scherz family and is one of the last traditionally family-run grand hotels – a true landmark of Switzerland.

• Receiving and processing individual and group bookings from inquiry to reservation, in compliance with the standards of “Leading Hotels of the World,” Swiss Deluxe Hotels, and our internal QM
• Ensuring smooth operations in the reservations department
• Providing personalized service to our (international) guests throughout the reservation process
• Entering guest data into the Protel on Premise booking system
• Shared responsibility for current occupancy levels and monitoring of the room budget
• Coordinating various rates and conditions with the reservations manager
• Close collaboration with operational and administrative hotel departments
• Assisting in monitoring our availability on online channels (CRS)
• For the beginning we can provide staff accommodation
• You have completed commercial training or an equivalent education
• You bring at least one year of experience in reservations in the upscale hotel industry
• You are a lively, well-groomed individual who enjoys guest interaction
• You have excellent MS Office skills
• You enjoy working in a team
• You are flexible, resilient, conscientious, detail- and customer-oriented
• You possess excellent German, French, and English language skills; additional languages are welcome
