We’re looking for a passionate Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of our culinary operations located at our French Leaveറി Resort in Eleuthera, Bahamas, from menu creation and kitchen management to team development and guest satisfaction. As the Executive Chef, you’ll bring a strong culinary vision, lead a talented team and ensure every dish meets our high standards for quality, presentation and consistency.

- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth execution of food preparation, service and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with local health regulations and hotel policies.
- Develop seasonal and event‑specific menus that are creative, cost‑effective and appealing to guests.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager and other leaders to align culinary offerings with overall property goals and guest preferences.
- Hire, train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive, productive and collaborative team culture.
- Oversee purchasing, inventory and food cost control to meet budgetary goals.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure maintenance and safe operation of all culinary tools and spaces.
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve any concerns with professionalism and a commitment to satisfaction.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and varying shifts as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required to support culinary and property success.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or in a comparable senior culinary leadership role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training or apprenticeship strongly preferred.
- Safe food handling certification required.
- Strong understanding of food and labor cost controls.
- Proven ability to lead, train and develop a kitchen team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Effective communication andಲನ organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret BEOs, safety regulations and operational procedures. simptomal len Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience in a resort, luxury hotel or fine‑dining environment.
