POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the IT Director, the person is responsible for first‑level desktop support of the PC and Telecomm user community. They manage support requests, diagnose and report problems (tracking them on an automated database application), troubleshoot or communicate issues to other support resources in a timely and responsive manner, and follow up with end users to ensure problems are fully resolved.
II.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent program/job experience required. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of PCs, printers, Windows, and the Internet. Patience and excellent customer skills are essential.
