Description

Data platform is a strategic cloud-native platform developed for a German OEM to standardize and accelerate the deployment of AI, analytics, and digital services across the enterprise.

Built on Microsoft Azure, the data platform provides a modular, scalable, and secure foundation for delivering Data Ops, ML workflows, and self‑service environments to internal teams and partners.

It enables:

• Unified infrastructure provisioning across business units.
• Automation of cloud resource deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi/Bicep).
• Integration of services like Azure ML,abricks, OpenAI, AI Search, and Power BI/Fabric.
• Fine‑grained access control using Entra , Managed Identities, and Service Principals.
• Full support for multi‑environment compliance, secure networking, and cost transparency.
• This acts as the core delivery backbone for AI‑driven innovation, enabling rapid onboarding, operational consistency, and secure collaboration across teams.

• 5+ years of Python development, preferably in ML/AI contexts.
• Hands‑on with Azure ML/OpenAI SDKs.
• Experience using IaC tools (Pulumi/Terraform) for AI pipeline deployments.

• Build Python APIs (FastAPI) to manage ML model deployment, prediction services, and job scheduling.
• Integrate directly with Azure ML SDK, AI Search APIs, and OpenAI for model training, inference, and configuration.
• Provision AI workloads via Pulumi in Python - enabling reproducible, secure deployments.
• Implement test automation (PyTest), structured logging, and performance profiling.
• Support NLP/OCR pipelines (Document Intelligence) for downstream integration.
• Coordinate with cloud architects to align services with infrastructure standards.
• Ensure all development adheres to big data platform guidelines (naming, tagging, monitoring, versioning).
• Collaborate with other agile product teams in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and actively contribute to workshops, communities of practice, and other sessions as a representative of the team.
