Location: Chester Springs
JPC Partners is looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator / Developer that will maintain and enhance SQL-based infrastructure, support web-based tools, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize existing SQL Server-based software solutions
- Tune queries, indexes, and stored procedures for peak performance
- Enhance web-based tools through backend programming and UI improvements
- Monitor database health using SQL Profiler and related tools
- Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate with third-party Dev Ops and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols
- Participate in capacity planning and system upgrades
- Provide documentation and support for internal processes
- Engage directly with customers to support data-driven solutions
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or Developer
- Strong proficiency in SQL/T-SQL (2000–2022)
- Ability to build and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, and jobs
- Strong troubleshooting skills for SQL performance and process issues
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure SQL or AWS RDS) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure DBA) preferred
