We are looking for an IT System Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies, automation, and Dev Ops to support and further develop our internal IT systems while ensuring reliable and secure operations.
What You’ll Do- Manage and optimize Microsoft Cloud platforms such as Azure, Entra , Teams (incl. telephony), SharePoint, Microsoft Defender, and Intune to ensure secure and smooth daily operations.
- Automate workflows and routine processes using Power Automate, Ansible, or similar tools, and create scripts in Power Shell or Python to improve efficiency.
- Provide cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, ensuring a reliable and consistent user experience.
- Assist in the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks, including firewalls, proxies, and VPN gateways.
- Collaborate with the IT Team Lead and CTO on infrastructure improvements and automation projects.
- Document systems, configurations, and processes to support knowledge sharing and smooth operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a role such as IT System Engineer.
- Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud platforms;
Azure, Entra , Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Defender. - Practical knowledge of automation tools (Power Automate, Ansible) and basic scripting skills with Power Shell or Python.
- Familiarity with supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux systems in a corporate environment.
- Experience in virtualization platforms, ideally Proxmox.
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts, including firewalls, proxies, and VPN gateways.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent English;
German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
