Job DescriptionJoin our Line 1 IT Risk Management team, where we proactively assess and manage operational risks of our technology. We partner across the enterprise to ensure data are secure, compliant, and efficient—leveraging automation and AI to scale our impact.
As an AI Risk & Compliance Expert, you will work cross‑functionally with AI Governance, Legal, Data, and Technology partners to assess AI risk, identify control gaps, and drive innovative solutions to monitor and manage risk. You’ll be a key contributor in shaping how Allstate manages AI and data risk in a rapidly evolving regulatory and technological landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Build and execute a strategic approach to first line AI risk management, embedding an ‘AI risk by‑design’ mindset in our operating model.
- Lead discovery and framing sessions to understand the root causes of data and privacy compliance risks, and translate regulatory requirements into actionable controls using automation and AI where feasible.
- Serve as a thought leader on data risk within strategic initiatives and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Product—to design and implement efficient, scalable IT controls and governance checkpoints, ensuring regulatory requirements are consistently applied.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate capabilities from native platforms (e.g., Microsoft Purview, AI Foundry, Azure) to enhance risk mitigation and value delivery.
- Stay ahead of emerging risks in GenAI, Agentic AI and evolving regulatory landscapes.
- 7 or more years of experience in IT risk, data governance, or AI implementation.
- Familiarity with data and AI tools such as Informatica, Microsoft Fabric, AI Foundry, and Azure.
- Experience working in or closely with software development teams and embedding governance checkpoints into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience utilizing NIST, COBIT, or other IT risk frameworks.
- This job does not have supervisory duties.

CompensationCompensation offered for this role is 95,700. annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
