We are seeking a Data Systems Specialist with the following responsibilities:

• Designing, creating, and analyzing programs, processes, and procedures to extract, transform, integrate, and load data into data systems using SAS.
• Logical modeling related to databases and data systems.
• Maintaining and supporting enterprise data systems.
• Applying knowledge of enterprise data architecture principles.
• Expertise in data system platforms, database programming languages (specifically SAS), and tools.
• Understanding logical modeling, distributed systems, IT architecture, and infrastructure standards.
• Following industry best practices for design and deployment.
• Applying standards in physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security.
• Developing data requirements and configuring database parameters accordingly.
• Implementing Data Warehouse modeling skills (e.g., star schema datamarts, summary tables).
• Demonstrating expertise in SAS.
• Staying informed about emerging technologies and trends impacting the field and business.
• Communicating effectively to convey credibility and confidence, making complex ideas understandable.
• Overcoming technical or people obstacles, resolving customer issues, and exceeding expectations.
• Seeking continuous self and skill development to stay among the best in the field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree
• 6+ years of relevant experience
