Service Now Architect

Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Service Now Architect to add to their growing team located in Lafayette, IN. The Service Now professional will serve as both an Implementer and Architect, ensuring successful deployment and optimization of Service Now modules. This role requires hands‑on technical work as well as architectural oversight to align implementations with business needs and ITIL best practices.

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Service Now modules, with a focus on Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), CMDB, and Project Management.
• Ensure modules are implemented correctly without disrupting existing Service Now functionality.
• Provide architectural guidance and align module deployment with business cases and use cases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external resources to coordinate implementation activities.
• Oversee ITIL-based change management, software asset lifecycle management, and configuration management processes.
• Integrate Service Now with tools such as SCCM, Tanium, or Service Now Discovery to maintain accurate software and hardware asset inventories.
• Advise on best practices for maintaining and enhancing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its relationship to software and hardware assets.
• Support ongoing enhancements and potential additional module implementations.

• Proven experience as a Service Now Implementer or Architect, with expertise in SAM Pro and CMDB management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL standards for software asset and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating Service Now with third‑party discovery and inventory tools.
• Skilled in Glide Scripting and customizing Service Now beyond out‑of‑the‑box configurations.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role as both a hands‑on implementer and strategic architect.
