Soul Synk is seeking an experienced application developer to help build a unique, human-centered relational support platform. This project is not a typical AI, coaching, or productivity app; instead, it emphasizes slow, respectful conversation and a minimal, calming interface. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with asynchronous, written collaboration and will value restraint, emotional safety, and user-led pacing over rapid feature development or engagement metrics.

The initial phase will be small in scope to ensure a strong fit before expanding further.

• Collaborate asynchronously with the founder to define and prioritize minimal, intentional features
• Develop and maintain a calm, minimal user interface that supports slow, thoughtful interaction
• Implement secure, privacy-focused architecture to protect user data and emotional safety
• Exercise restraint in feature development, advocating for 'not building' when appropriate
• Document decisions and processes clearly in writing to support transparent, asynchronous teamwork
• Participate in regular written check-ins and feedback cycles, prioritizing presence and thoughtful communication

• Senior-level experience in application development, with a strong portfolio of minimal, user-centered products
• Demonstrated ability to work asynchronously and communicate effectively in writing
• Deep understanding of privacy, security, and ethical considerations in digital products
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to prioritize emotional safety and user autonomy
• Experience with modern web or mobile frameworks (tech stack flexible)
• Ability to advocate for restraint and intentionality in product decisions
• Strong collaboration skills, with a preference for thoughtful, slow-paced teamwork
• Availability for ongoing, asynchronous engagement as the project evolves
