We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Automation Engineering CCM team and ensure the performance, scalability, and resilience of critical systems.

This role combines a strong understanding of software engineering principles (Java, JavaScript/React) with expertise in cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops practices.

As an SRE, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing key services like public websites, mobile APIs, CMS platforms, and internal tools. You’ll also participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation and directly impact both customer-facing and internal developer experiences.

• Ensure the reliability of public websites and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Support backend systems and observability for Android/iOS apps.
• Maintain Java-based Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) APIs and live geolocation services.
• Automate and support CMS (Magnolia) infrastructure and deployments.
• Improve internal tooling for operational efficiency using Java/JavaScript.
• Enhance front-end observability with tools like App Dynamics RUM.
• Manage and align non-production environments with production standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to incidents and restore services.

Software Engineering (Java + Frontend):

• Solid understanding of Java 11+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs (at least at troubleshooting level)
• Ability to read React/JavaScript code and understand integrations with APIs
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Node.js
• Familiarity with frontend observability (RUM, browser metrics)
• Comfortable with JUnit, Cypress, Jest, and CI quality gates

Cloud Architecture & Dev Ops:

• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Familiarity with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes
• CI/CD expertise using Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools

Monitoring & Incident Management:

• Experience with observability tools:
  Prometheus, Grafana, App Dynamics, New Relic, etc.
• Skilled at log querying (ELK, Splunk, Logz.io)
• Ability to lead incident response and root cause analysis

Security & Automation:

• Apply Dev Sec Ops practices
• Automate operational toil and tune system performance
• Optimize both Java services and React applications

Collaboration & Communication:

• Participate in code reviews (backend and frontend)
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments

• Experience with high-throughput, real-time apps
• Exposure to mobile performance debugging
• Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and frontend/backend security
