Job DescriptionThe Corporate ERP Business Manager takes charge of ERP reporting and operational excellence in manufacturing processes and accounting, leading the team in programming, managing internal business applications, and maintaining business systems to meet business needs and support corporate and multi‑plant sites.
Responsible for relationships with software vendors, contract negotiations, upgrades, project management, budgeting, disaster recovery support, and aiding the help desk as needed.
Team & System Management- Manage a cohesive ERP team of 6, assign daily tasks, provide coaching and mentoring, and oversee team performance.
- Delegated task monitoring, employee training, staff performance assessment, and recruitment support.
- Lead day‑to‑day operation, support and maintenance of the ERP system.
- Implement new ERP modules and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between US manufacturing plants and the ERP system.
- Oversee daily operations, support and upkeep of the ERP system.
- Act as the main liaison between business departments and the ERP system.
- Direct the rollout of new ERP modules and system upgrades to address changing business requirements.
- Streamline existing business processes to maximize ERP system capabilities.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend system‑driven solutions to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Document business requirements, processes, and system configurations.
- Partner with departments including finance, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, HR, and IT to ensure ERP solutions meet their needs.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure effective system adoption and usage across teams.
- Facilitate change management and user support through updates and transitions.
- Pinpoint process inefficiencies and suggest system‑based improvements to enhance data accuracy and operational performance.
- Record details of business needs, workflows, and system setups.
- Collaborate with departments such as finance, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, HR, and IT to confirm ERP solutions address their specific requirements.
- Assess and optimize current business processes to fully leverage the ERP system functionality.
- Organize training workshops and sessions to promote effective adoption and utilization of the system among staff.
- Support change management and assist users during system updates and transitions.
- Oversee all phases of ERP‑related projects from planning to post‑launch support.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with IT and security standards in all ERP‑related activities.
- Direct all stages of ERP projects, from initial planning through to post‑implementation support.
- Maintain adherence to IT and security protocols throughout all ERP project activities.
- Develop and maintain ERP dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders.
- Provide strategic insights based on system analytics and data trends.
- Design and update ERP dashboards and reporting solutions to serve stakeholder needs.
- Deliver strategic recommendations by analyzing system data and identifying key trends.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in a business context.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of developing practical solutions.
- Strong organizational and project/time management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, financial reports, and business documents, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective at presenting technical information to non‑technical staff and management.
- Willingness to be on‑call and travel regionally as needed.
- Can‑do attitude.
- Experience with Capable‑To‑Promise, Advanced Planning Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning manufacturing applications.
- ERP/Integrated manufacturing system implementation experience in systems such as SAP, ORACLE, SYTLINE, Symix, LN, DYNAMICS, and/or JD Edwards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- US citizenship or permanent residency without need for sponsorship.
- Experience in information systems and technology supporting or leading solutions for HR, Legal, and Finance systems.
- Demonstrated success in managing and improving IT systems, preferably large‑scale.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
Annual Salary: $124,000 – $138,000 USD.
