Front-Office Trading Specialist – Equites — Charles River Development

This position is located in the Malvern / Berywn, PA area.

The Support Specialist team supports customers post go‑live of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) implementation. Their contributions include defining new client requirements, configuring and tuning the application to the client’s business and technical needs, training users, testing workflows and resolving issues. The Specialist will liaise with Charles River Technical Support and Product resources to troubleshoot application issues and determine the optimal configuration.

• Analyze and evaluate requirements issues while providing product expertise and guiding the post go‑live journey.
• Educate customers on the methodologies and functionality of CRIMS; advise on best practices for implementation and operation.
• Document and communicate product enhancements based on customer requirements or market trends.
• Maintain a client issues list and status reporting.
• Train users on existing workflows.
• Gather requirements for new asset classes, security types, and/or business lines; document requirements and work with Professional Services to assign resources.
• Contribute to software quality by communicating defects to Client Support and Product Management, supporting resolution, verifying fixes, and suggesting documentation improvements.

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in the financial industry, preferably with a consultancy or software vendor.
• Experience implementing or supporting Front, Middle or Back Office Investment Management systems.
• Strong industry knowledge across multiple asset classes.
• Hands‑on experience with investment management software (order management or compliance system preferred).
• Understanding of investment workflows, derivatives, FX instruments, and fixed‑income or equity instruments.
• Technical skills: multi‑tier architecture, relational databases, SQL, FIX, reporting tools.
• Excellent customer service record, strong communication and influencing skills.
• Time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.

• Four‑year degree in business or technical field (Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.); advanced degree or CFA is a plus.
• Travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada (30‑50% typical).
