Execution Desk Support

Overview

Susquehanna currently has a job opportunity available on our Execution Desk Support team assisting our Equity Options desk at our Philadelphia area Headquarters.

By taking this job, you will be embedded on one of our trading desks where you will directly interface with and support a team of traders and sales trades. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the products our customers trade from those around you and will serve as a key piece to ensuring a smooth and expeditious flow of information between our traders & sales traders, our customers, exchanges, clearing firms, and compliance teams.

Your role is integral to the success of our desk as our traders rely on you to maintain accurate trade positions and profit and loss (PnL) reports as well as to help ensure seamless communication between market participants.

• Execute electronic customer orders
• Compile/reconcile data from electronic trades
• Blotter equity options trades
• Assist with maintaining position, PnL and information exchange
• Act as liaison between desk traders, sales traders, outside dealers, and the exchanges

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a support capacity, ideally on a trading desk or exchange floor preferred
• Possession of both SIE and Series 57 licenses required; candidates with at least one license and the willingness to obtain the other within 4 months of hire will also be considered
• Demonstrated experience with Excel required; experience with VBA and/or Python preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, critical
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
• High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
