HCLTech is seeking an experienced IP/MPLS Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain core network infrastructure for global operations. This role is critical for ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of advanced service provider networks.

As an IP/MPLS Network Engineer, you will work on designing and deploying complex network solutions across core, edge, and aggregation layers. You will handle advanced routing protocols, VPN technologies, and traffic engineering to optimize network performance. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment, supporting mission-critical services for large-scale networks.

• Plan, design, and implement IP/MPLS network solutions for core, edge, and aggregation layers.
• Configure, provision, and maintain routers and switches for daily operations.
• Act as an escalation point for complex L2/L3 issues and troubleshoot network faults.
• Implement QoS, BNGs, and traffic engineering solutions to optimize performance.
• Monitor network health and recommend enhancements for scalability and security.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering within a service provider environment.
• Deep hands-on expertise with MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and LDP/RSVP.
• Strong knowledge of QoS, traffic engineering, and broadband network gateways (BNGs).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.
• Certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP (or equivalent) are highly preferred.

• Experience with SDN and network automation tools.
• Familiarity with IPv6 deployment and migration strategies.
• Knowledge of network security best practices for service provider environments.
• Exposure to multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia).
