POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Solution Delivery Team Lead for SAP Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (PTP). The lead will manage solution delivery, application development, and support services, ensuring timely incident resolution, changes and projects delivery. Responsibilities include implementing ITIL best practices, improving SDLC and ITIL processes, and governing application support operations as well as project deliverables.

The lead will oversee a global team to deliver business value through projects, maintenance activities, improvements, and innovations. Strong expertise in SAP SD, MM, FI modules and cross-functional knowledge is necessary. The lead must demonstrate technology leadership on the SAP platform, manage solutioning and estimations, and develop team members to achieve organizational goals in a dynamic technology environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the team o Lead internal and external experts in OTC and PTP SAP support and projects.
• Serve as OTC and PTP subject matter expert to guide the team on addressing requirements and challenges.
• Prioritize daily product backlog for projects, change requests, and support.
• Develop a strong, motivated team of versatile SAP functional experts. o Mentor team members with performance goals, periodic evaluations, and feedback.

Solution Delivery

• Manage design, configuration, testing, and deployment for SAP enhancements and new functionalities.
• Provide best in class application development and maintenance services by following the software delivery lifecycle and IT methodologies.
• Address complex functional and technical issues; escalate when needed. o Collaborate with team leads to resolve cross-functional inter-dependencies.
• Implement ITIL practices for application support including customer satisfaction, Critical Incident Management, Problem Management, Known Error Database (KEDB), development standards, and naming conventions.
• Enhance solution knowledge and documentation.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date solution documentation and a dependable knowledge base for SAP solutions.

Manage Stakeholders

• Deliver value in collaboration with business and other IT teams.
• Manage stakeholders from business and IT by influencing and changing behaviors.
• Educate on policies and processes.
• Seek feedback and drive improvements in policies and processes.
• Manage and govern contract resources and managed service provider vendors for agreed delivery scope and quality.
• Support and ensure partners are set up for success. o Negotiate contract scope, efforts and timelines at appropriate commercials.
• Drive operational excellence, process improvements, bring technology thought leadership, eliminate-streamline-automate business and IT delivery processes, push for application rationalization, promote innovation etc.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Years of relevant experience: above 15 years
• Management experience of leading SAP Support Services and projects, Managed SAP OTC/PTP teams in past for projects and in manufacturing organizations

IT Software experience in:

• SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and SAP Materials Management (MM)
• Integration areas of SD and MM with FI, IBP, PP, EWM, TMS etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience in integration and processes with EDI, Ariba etc for B2B automation options.
• ECC, S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Fiori, EDI, Ariba, SAP CPI, BTP, SAP Solution Manager/CALM, SAP GRC,
• ITIL processes, application support best practices and tools like Jira, Azure, MS Power apps, Cherwell etc.

Certifications:

• SAP SD, SAP MM Certifications, PMP, SAFe certifications, ITIL, Six Sigma

Competences:

• Highly proactive, self-organized, strong analytical abilities with good written/verbal communications in English, strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, Ability to build credible relationships with peers and clients.
• Work in team as well as individual contributor.
• Ability to articulate, mitigate and resolve conflicts. Knowledge of financials and commercials.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field.
