Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical support to end‑users via phone, e‑mail, and in‑person (onsite/hybrid).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Manage and resolve escalated tickets from junior support staff.
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding including provisioning accounts and equipment.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system and knowledge base.
  • Train and mentor junior helpdesk staff.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
  • Manage and monitor virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
  • Perform system updates, patch management, and server backups.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Fresh service, Service Now).
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., Team Viewer, Remote Desktop, Any Desk).
Qualifications
  • BS degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of technology support experience.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
