Catalyx is seeking a Lab Technician with strong laboratory automation experience to support day-to-day lab operations, troubleshoot automated systems, and help maintain and improve laboratory workflows. This role is focused specifically on laboratory environments and technology, rather than manufacturing operations.

• Provide technical support for laboratory automation systems, equipment, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving automated lab instruments and integrated systems.
• Support automation setup, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
• Assist with system integrations and connectivity between laboratory instruments and software.
• Identify opportunities to improve lab workflows through automation and technology.
• Document troubleshooting activities, configurations, procedures, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with laboratory scientists, engineers, IT, and other technical teams.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary and support root-cause analysis.

• 2+ years of technical support or laboratory technology experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting laboratory automation or automated laboratory equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments, systems, and software.
• Experience with system integration, scripting, or automation technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to work directly in a laboratory environment and support end users.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in an L2 support capacity with limited supervision.
