Marketing Account Executive

• Market products and services through the independent agency system in designated territories
• Maintain strong communication and relationship management with agents, underwriting departments, and Account Executives
• Serve as the front-line underwriter for new business and renewal workers’ compensation accounts
• Gather and present data to the Underwriting Department, including strategic recommendations
• Travel up to 60% of the time for client meetings and presentations

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10+ years of experience in production underwriting or marketing commercial insurance
• Proven experience with large accounts, preferably in workers’ compensation
• Knowledge of the Independent Agent system and key agencies in the territory
• Strong relationship management skills with agents and clients
• Must reside in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Louisville

• Additional experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims
• Established relationships with key insurance agencies in the specified geographic area
