About the Opportunity

Are you looking to grow your career in commercial insurance? Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team player to join their agency as a Junior Commercial Insurance Account Manager
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional with at least one year of experience who wants to build their knowledge, strengthen client relationships, and develop their commercial lines expertise. You’ll work alongside experienced insurance professionals while supporting a portfolio of commercial accounts, assisting with renewals, and helping clients secure the coverage they need.

Experience with habitational property and general liability is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a strong commitment to customer service are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Support the servicing of commercial insurance accounts and help maintain strong client relationships.
• Maintain accurate client records, policy documents, and electronic files within the agency management system.
• Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, premium financing, and other policy-related requests.
• Communicate with insurance carriers and clients to obtain information, resolve questions, and provide timely updates.
• Assist with marketing renewals and obtaining competitive coverage options.
• Support the preparation and binding of coverage, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Help clients understand their policies, coverage options, and routine insurance-related questions.
• Develop knowledge of commercial lines, including habitational property, general liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in an insurance agency, preferably in commercial lines.
• An active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Basic knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience AMS
  360 is A+ or another agency management system is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while providing responsive client service.
