The Purchasing Agent I supports procurement operations by processing purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role also assists with vendor sourcing, order tracking, and cost-saving initiatives.  ### What’s In It For You

Key Responsibilities
* Source, evaluate, and support vendor relationships
* Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery requirements
* Create and manage purchase orders
* Track orders and resolve delivery or pricing issues
* Maintain purchasing data, part numbers, pricing, and BOMs in JDE
* Coordinate RMAs and supplier follow-up
* Communicate order status with internal stakeholders
* Support sourcing strategies and cost reduction efforts  ### Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 0-2 years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience preferred
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
* Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) preferred  ### Why Join Us?
