Responsibilities- Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Slots department. Supports,administer sand manages operational goals andmonitorsachievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, anddemonstratessuperior customer servicein accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Provides authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments, when applicable,in accordance with established procedures.
- Works closely with the Shift Manager to implement and oversee overall strategies for customer service, comping.
- Shares responsibility of the overall engagement of all team members with Shift Manager by addressing and managing team member feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances.
- Assistsin the maintenance and processing of all paperwork, logs, schedules, and communication pertaining tothe Slots department.
- Shares responsibility for the overall integrity of daily operations on assigned shift.
- Assists with the overall integrity of daily Slot operations.
- Responsible for ensuringcompliancewith all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Technological proficiency,ieability to use computers, tablets, and other mobile devices.
- Closelymonitorcustomer needs by visibly circulating and interacting with patrons
- Must be knowledgeable of all special eventsand promotions available to customers
- Mustat all timesdemonstratefriendly, ethical cooperative behavior with customers and co-workers
- Work in a team environmentutilizingeffective communication across all levels of the department
- Understands and adheres to all bargaining unit agreements (where applicable).
- Safeguard company assets
- Must adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures
- High School diploma or GED required; minimum of one year experience in Slot/Casino Operations; or two years customer service management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Slot operating systems.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Ability towritereports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must have knowledge of Slot Operations.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, as business needs dictate.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
