Summary

Our branch banking roles offer a welcoming and inclusive team environment where you are empowered every day to help our customers achieve their financial goals. As a Branch Manager, you are responsible for managing the branch; leading all facets of sales, service and operations; coaching the team to reach budgeted production goals; acquiring new consumer and business customers; initiating referrals to partners;

deepening all existing customer relationships; and consistently driving business development and calling programs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Managing portfolio of high‑value consumer and business customers.
  • Refer customers to other areas of the bank to meet needs, deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
  • Lead the team to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively.
  • Leverage tools and technology to identify and present sales and service opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies and educate the team.
  • Engage actively in the community and develop key business and community relationships.
  • Develop internal partnerships to drive business in the market area.
  • Oversee recruitment/hiring ensuring the branch is staffed with colleagues aligned with Huntington’s culture.
  • Secure resources to support the team.
  • Manage overall operations, adhering to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies.
  • Understand branch sales, service, operations and financial performance.
  • Demonstrate acumen in banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching, colleague development, communication and presentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of goal‑driven retail sales leadership experience, or a Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and prior management experience.
  • Understanding of branch sales, service, operations and financial performance across branch and digital channels.
  • Acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer and business lending, and leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort with mobile and online banking technologies.
  • Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and retain colleagues.
Exempt Status

Yes = not eligible for overtime pay.
