Operations Manager, Healthcare Management

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Operations Manager to join our leadership team at Donald Coburn Centre, Castle Hill. This pivotal role ensures the operational effectiveness and efficiency of our home, delivering the highest levels of care and wellbeing for our residents.
Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Wellbeing- Support the Residential Manager with complaint management and contribute to resident wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the Residential Manager to develop strategies in response to resident surveys and feedback, addressing care and service concerns.
- Manage all non-clinical administrative and commercial functions to achieve home KPIs, including occupancy, budgets (expenditure and revenue), and care minutes.
- Develop and implement control measures to address adverse trends and variances to targets.
- Lead, coach, and manage an engaged team.
- Uphold Anglicare’s Vision and Mission, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Effectively manage large, complex rosters, annual leave, sick leave, agency usage, and contingency plans to align with service level targets.
- Ensure accurate completion of HR and payroll functions.
- Partner with the Residential Manager to conduct annual performance reviews and succession planning.
- Champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate staff compliance records and ensure a safe workplace.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of commercial drivers within aged care.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing large, complex rosters, preferably within aged care.
- Ability to manage work efficiently and effectively.
- Proven leadership skills to build trust, coach, and engage teams.
- Sound decision-making within scope of responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative and/or management role.
- Experience with rostering and associated systems.
- Proven track record of successful KPI management.
- Experience managing budgets and commercial KPIs.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, time management, and financial systems.
- Ability to lead diverse workforce teams and foster a growth mindset.
