VP Organizational Transformation and Development (80-100%)

In this strategic and impactful role, you will be a core member of the Senior P&O team, working closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to drive Tecan’s organizational transformation and development. You will oversee a small, dynamic team responsible for Global Talent Management and Learning, Project Portfolio Management, and HR Processes.

You will oversee a small, dynamic team responsible for Global Talent Management and Learning, Project Portfolio Management, and HR Processes.

Responsibilities
  • Support our top business leaders in designing and aligning the organization with effectiveness and focused on business goals.
  • Lead the culture journey to meet current and future corporate needs.
  • Oversee global talent management and learning, ensuring continuous development through user-friendly learning platforms and innovative approaches.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and HR processes.
  • Manage internal and external reporting within your area of responsibility.
  • Lead project portfolio management for the People & Organization division, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.
  • Guide and empower the P&OE team in executing Tecan’s organizational transformation initiatives.
Your background
  • A proven track record with 5+ years in senior HR roles, driving change and delivering results.
  • Hands‑on experience leading organizational design and transformation, both strategically and operationally, for at least 5 years.
  • An academic background in psychology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience partnering with C‑level stakeholders, influencing decisions at the highest level.
  • Demonstrated success in project and change management, navigating complex environments with agility.
  • A history of designing and executing innovative talent programs that unlock potential and foster growth.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the employee life cycle, from recruitment to development and retention.
  • Advanced analytical skills, using data to inform organizational design and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Success Factors and a talent for conceptualizing impactful talent programs.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus in our global environment.
  • You bring a strategic mindset, and a collaborative spirit with a global perspective.
  • You excel in execution by turning ideas into action and driving projects to completion.
  • You love acting as a sparring partner and with your critical thinking abilities you challenge the status quo and find creative solutions.
