Senior Installation Supervisor

At Bühler you are managing and leading a team of technicians required for the installation of big and/or complex projects (X-BU, type A projects). You would be responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the installation supervision, within the scope of work associated to the assigned project. • You ensure that the personnel assigned is fully acquainted with the site specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly as well as you perform installation according to the specifications and engineering documents, taking into account the safety instructions, environmental protection measures and local regulations.
• You monitor progress of construction against the program, and take steps to ensure the program is achieved. You initiate as required mitigation/preventive actions to achieve target program timely with the support of the Site Manager or Project Manager.
• You conduct or attend daily and weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors, ensure that the Site Manager and the Project Manager receive regular information updates as well as correct behavior and good teamwork within the installation and commissioning team in accordance with company policy and local requirements/regulations.
• You ensure proper reporting while identify, document and communicate any deviations from customer contract as well as you are responsible for maintaining an intensive customer relationship and a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Engineering degree as well as 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or proof of sufficient skills.
• Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company.
• Strong planning, organising and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams.
• Strong customer focus, sound judgment and decision making and problem solving skills.
