The Store Leader collaborates with the Regional Director, the management team and staff to achieve the store’s operational goals and budget. Responsibilities include monitoring daily operations, creating staff schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
Example Duties and Activities Operations – 50%- Apply Lean Six Sigma for process improvement, integration, and post‑analytics. Lead standardized work and review trends and variances with team leaders.
- Monitor daily operations and performance; address and follow up on operational concerns. Implement a system focused on a safe work environment for achieving operational goals.
- Manage inventory and supplier supplies; maintain necessary processes and systems.
- Maintain facility appearance and merchandising standards; ensure every customer and donor receives an exceptional experience.
- Oversee a strong safety program; enforce OSHA standards, hazard elimination, audits, and safety training.
- Determine staffingшийся levels to meet budget; participate in leadership recruitment – pre‑screening and interviews.
- Hold leaders and staff accountable to meet performance expectations across the site.
- Create and maintain a open communication culture with prompt issue resolution.
- Support, guide, and manage the leadership team; conduct orientation, training, and retraining for new leaders.
- Evaluate leadership through objective setting and performance reviews.
- Plan and direct all activities, including recruitment, training, accountability, motivation, productivity monitoring, and communication. Set clear responsibilities and remove barriers.
- Plan and direct employee development and succession planning.
- Review P&L and customer metrics, identify trends, and develop growth plans. Forecast sales and site needs while meeting budget and operating income targets.
- Utilize reports to spot opportunities; implement improvements across the retail site.
- Track and report preliminary figures; advise the Regional Director on variances and action plans.
- Drive sales and margin improvements through initiatives and expense reductions.
- Degree and Credential Requirements – High school diploma or GED.
- Operations and People Management – Direct and train supervisory staff beck to success in production activities tied to a retail or logistics environment.
- Communication Skills – Articulate ideas effectively using oral, written, visual, and digital地产.
- Technical Knowledge – Proficient in MS Office and Internet navigation; G Suite a plus.
