Maintenance Technician

Description:

Perform regular and preventative maintenance duties on all mechanical assets on site. Abilities to include the following:

Good Mechanical aptitude

Computer skills to complete work orders in SAP

Perform pipe fitting for both stainless and carbon pipe.

Ability to install mechanical equipment properly.

Troubleshooting skills

Perform all duties within the Company's Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations. All other duties as assigned by management.

Run Preventive routes 30%

Mechanical Repairs and New Installation 30%

Repair hazardous and non-hazardous lines

Repair all production equipment on site as needed.

Repair general structures.

Design and fabricate as needed.

Troubleshoot as needed.

Repair and rebuild items such as seals, gearboxes, vessels, shrink wrappers, pumps, valves and conveying equipment.

Install new equipment such as valves, instruments, and pumps

Pipe fitting Repairs Throughout Plant 20%

Threading Pipe

Hazardous line breaking involving suiting up in Level A suit.

New installation of water, hazardous, thermal fluid, nitrogen, air and other lines throughout the plant.

Troubleshoot as needed

General maintenance 10%

Perform various tasks as required including painting, masonry, grounds maintenance, snow removal.

Other Administrative duties 10%

Using email

Using CMMS system (SAP)

Experience required: 1 - 3 Years mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting, chemical facility preferred.
