Manufacturing Engineer

Viwinco has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team!

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
• Assist in the selection, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Apply root cause analysis and corrective action strategies to resolve production issues.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Validate processes through experimentation, simulation, and mockups.
• Collect and analyze production data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
• Support the manufacturing launch of new or revised products, including documentation, training, and tooling/equipment acquisition.
• Assist with machinery layout and equipment design to improve production efficiency.
• Conduct time studies and document findings to support process enhancements.
• Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement projects aligned with company objectives.
• Engage in Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support overall operational goals.
• Create and present visualizations and process data for real‑time shop floor insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, flow, layout, and production equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works), manufacturing software, and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach to process improvement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
