Recipe Data Management & Product Reporting Lead

The Recipe Data Management & Product Reporting Lead is the primary contact for the Recipe Data Management Organization (RDMO) and Product Reporting Team. You will play a critical function in managing product formulation data, reporting systems, and documentation across technical and manufacturing operations. The Lead ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product data, drives process improvements, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support product development, commercialization, and manufacturing efficiency.

You will report to the Business Support & Admin Manager and manages a team including Oracle Coatings Recipes Administrators, Oracle Coatings Recipe Technologists, and Product Reporting Technicians.

• Lead and manage the RDMO & Product Reporting Team, including daily workflow coordination, technical guidance, issue resolution, and supervision of team members responsible for recipe creation, data entry, and product documentation, while fostering collaboration across Technical, Quality, Engineering, Production, Master Data, IT, and other cross‑functional teams.

• Oversee product data and documentation management within enterprise systems, including formula, recipe, and finished good specifications; initiation of new product codes; data entry for coatings formulations; regular data health checks; discrepancy resolution; and continuous improvement of data integrity, SOPs, process flows, and data management protocols.

• Coordinate cross‑functional projects such as product transfers between manufacturing locations, recipe adjustments due to equipment changes, and system improvements, serving as a liaison between technical formulation development, manufacturing execution, and IT partners focused on automation and efficiency initiatives.

• Manage customer‑facing product reporting for Coil and Extrusion products, including Product Data Sheets (PDS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Environmental Data Sheets (EDS), and EZ‑Mix formulas created through Excel tools for customer paint kitchens.

• Oversee the COEX Request mailbox and customer inquiries, process color‑match and panel requests, coordinate panel shipments, and place purchase orders to maintain substrate inventory at the Springdale facility used for color and extrusion testing.

• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and technical leaders, demonstrate ownership of assigned processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, take on additional projects as needed, and consistently exhibit strong attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, and a customer‑ and results‑focused mindset.

• BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical, commercial, operational, or product support role.

• 3+ years experience with people management.

• Experience in technical or product management is desirable.

• Working knowledge of raw materials and formulation processes within the coatings industry.

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.

• Strong computer and database skills.

• Position based in Springdale, PA, with hybrid or on‑site flexibility depending on business needs; occasional travel may be required.
