Hydromea is a fast-growing Swiss company developing cutting-edge underwater technologies in wireless communication and portable robotics. Our mission is to enable fully remote monitoring of submerged assets at scale — safely, sustainably, and without constraints.

The company enters the next phase of accelerating growth and we are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to take ownership of our factory floor operations and workshop activities. You will lead a small but growing skilled team, drive process excellence, and help scale our manufacturing capabilities to meet increasing global demand.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, organize and grow our manufacturing and workshop team
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components into sub-assemblies or finished products
  • Test sub-assemblies and finished products
  • Oversee production planning, assembly, testing, and quality control
  • Ensure high standards in manufacturing processes, safety, and documentation
  • Identify bottlenecks and gaps in processes or communication, work out solutions and implement them
  • Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams to industrialize new products
  • Manage ERP production data, workflows, and reports to support company scaling
  • Continuously improve efficiency, cost control, and product delivery performance
  • Be responsible for workshop and machine maintenance, identify issues, propose and implement improvements to tools, machines and processes
Your Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of a proven experience in hands-on manufacturing within electronics, robotics, or precision engineering
  • Strong team leadership experience and hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Practical knowledge of quality systems, lean processes, and assembly workflows
  • Working ERP experience
  • Fluent in French and English (both required)
  • A proactive mindset suited to a fast-growing tech scale-up environment
  • A strong understanding and pragmatic commitment to "lean" principles, improving efficiency, eliminating waste of time and material
